Fruitful online project meeting despite of the pandemic

Brand new educational materials on the way in the field of nearly zero energy buildings (nZEB) by the Energiaklub led team in the Hi-Smart project.

With the cooperation of Energiaklub, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STUBA) and Technical University of Kaiserslautern (TUK) a successful online project meeting was conducted despite of the current public health situation. The goal of the meeting was that to discuss the current situation of the development of the education package of Hi-Smart. Hi-Smart project’s main idea is to develop an innovative educational package targeting higher education students and professionals in Hungary, Slovakia and Germany to support design, construction and operation of intelligent, energy efficient buildings in compliance with the requirements of the energy performance of buildings. The first test version of the educational package will be available in Autumn 2020. During the 3 year project, which started in September 2019, besides elaborating an educational package on energy efficient building technologies, renewable energy sources and smart solutions in buildings, Energiaklub will also aim to connect students with the industry stakeholders, providing a platform to meet and exchange experiences.
