New education materials for several age groups
Educational material will be composed of three age groups on the theme of energy, efficiency, renewables and climate change.
Description:
The „Hol az energia?” (Where is the energy?) educational material published in 1999 will be updated and improved. It will be easier to use, more understandable and efficient. We plan to merge our experience gained through the development of posters about climate change, renewable and non-renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, and the Check it out educational materials.
The topics of the new material are reflection on the individual energy consumption behaviour, energy efficiency tips, knowledge on climate change and energy sources, both on renewable and non-renewable, relation between climate and energy.
The educational material will be composed of four handbooks for four age groups, kindergarten teachers, primary school teachers (6-10 and 11-14 years) and high school teachers. The content of the handbooks will be easy to adjust to the curriculum of different subjects, such as Hungarian, English, Biology, Geography, Physics or Art. We plan to approach the topics from different perspectives and give a tool for the teacher to handle the topics during the classes.
Our partners are the Carl Rogers Person-Centered Nursery, Primary School and Highschool.
