Eco Pack for employees i.e. CSR with the help of NGOs
Four well-known NGOs: Energy Club (Energiaklub), Waste Reduction Alliance (Hulladék Munkaszövetség), Ecoservice (Ökoszolgálat) and Association of Conscious Consumers (Tudatos Vásárlók Egyesülete) are offering a unique opportunity for companies seated in Hungary.
This initiative is rather special because the four NGOs are providing professional services instead of simply asking for corporate support. The Eco Pack touches on issues that are ‘hot’ at the moment and are of concern to every household. It contains not only lectures on environmentally friendly living, but also publications motivating for conscious consumption as well as various tools helping to realize all this.
The NGOs are expecting to establish both good relations with companies and also new communication channels so that their messages can reach a wider public.
Companies can benefit of this cooperation in several ways: on one hand the employees gain advantages (such as savings in household expenditure, healthier living conditions, less trash), on the other hand the employee’s loyalty to the employer and commitment to its CSR values shall certainly rise.
The Eco Pack offer contains several moduls such as presentation and a bag full of useful tools and books. It can be interesting for staff trainings, corporate family and open days or as a corporate employee Christmas gift.
The pack gives information on highly relevant issues concerning all households: how to cope with high energy prices, unnecessary chemicals, dump of products and hills of trash:
Energy – Energiaklub. Through conscious energy consumption and behavior changing there are many ways to reduce energy consumption of the households while comfort of living shall increase.
Waste - Humusz. The birth of waste is not natural. Waste is born in our mind and it can be decreased by changing our habits.
Houshold – health - Ökoszolgálat. There are many environmental friendly practices that can be implemented in our everyday life and households. The traditional, wise and cheap washing, cleaning and cleansing methods are appreciated again, just as the health of our family is.
Dump of products - TVE. While buying products our decisions must be based not only the usual price-quality considerations but also on other considerations, such as the environmental and social performance of the manufacturer, the ecological features thereof or the health impact related to its consumption.

PresentationFor unlimited number of audience, 2 hours long, 10 minutes introduction and than 4 x 20 minutes each topic, 30 minutes left for questions. Costs: 210.000 Ft + VAT + eventually traveling expenses
Eco Pack No 2.)
Gift pack. Packs for the employees, can be additional to the trainings or separately. The gift pack consists of the following:
- Book on conscious consumers
- Hand book on households energy certificate and saving possibilities
- Green Cents, a publication on environment friendly household practices
- Waste ABC – a publication on how to reduce our own waste production
- 1 kg washing soda
- 1 indoor thermometer
- 1 long life –cycle, reusable shopping bag of canvas (That also serves as the packaging for the Gift pack.)
Costs: 4.340 Ft + VAT / pack + eventually delivery expenses.
