Our partner, Can Europe and other leading environmental organizations have created this document, which examines the EU’s Climate package proposal. From the document, we can learn what the relationship is between the different IPCC scenarios and the EU Climate package, as well as the impact it will have on future global average temperatures. It becomes clear that a 30% domestic emissions reduction and binding additional support in developing countries are needed in order for us to be able to keep the temperature increase below 2°C. We recommend this document to decision-makers.
