Let's create a climate-friendly city - in small steps!

Budapest is particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change due to its high density of buildings and population. To address this situation, urban green spaces are the most effective way, however, green public spaces are not sufficient. Nearly a third of Budapest's green spaces are under the direct influence of city residents, and Energiaklub aims to help Budapest residents to create new green spaces and improve their quality .

As a result of the project, property owners in the capital will be more aware of their role and opportunities in climate adaptation. In order to do this:

  • We will create at least 10 articles suitable for publication in district newspapers,

  • These articles will be presented via our online platforms and will reach a minimum of 20,000 views,

  • Organise at least 3 meetings for community organisations (NGOs and other groups) to present these opportunities (target: participation of at least 50 community organisers).

The project is supported by the Metropolitan Environment Fund.
