Solar Energy Market in Hungary, 2009
Energiaklub published an up-date of its solar energy market research. The new adition provides information of the demand and supply side of the Hungarian PV and solar thermal market, analyses risks and opportunities, shows future trends.
Energiaklub published its second up-dated analysis on the Hungarian solar energy market, based on a large-scale questionnaire survey at the end of 2009.
Solar thermal collectors are popular among energy conscious households in Hungary. However, the economic crisis and the inefficient subsidy system for households has caused in 2009 a decline in annual sales for the first time in recent years. PV panels are utilised by high-income costumers, thus this market experienced a slighter blackside. Energiaklub\'s survey shows that the Hungarian solar energy market becomes saturated with more and more companies entering the market.
The objective of this analysis is to provide a comprehensive picture on the state of the photovoltaic cell and solar thermal collector market in Hungary at the end of 2009 with the help of a questionnaire survey.
