Climate - questions and answers
On behalf of the Hungarian National Association of Local Authorities, Energiaklub organized a six-day climate adaptation training.
The task of Energiaklub was to develop and implement the curriculum. The 3*2-day training organized between 12 December 2017 and 21 February 2018 was attended by mayors, deputy mayors and environmental experts.
The objective of the training was to enable the settlements to prepare for the impacts of climate change on time. During the training, the participants focused on solving the problems of their own settlements. Local, exemplary initiatives from Hungary (in situ) and from Norway were also presented.
Knowledge gained can help local governments to prepare strategies at local level and to adapt to expected changes.
