Description: The Green Energy Network was established to provide citizens with appropriate information on the possibilities and methods of lowering energy consumption. During this one-year project 10 qualified and well-trained experts were at the service every day of those interested. The counseling work was supported by technical trainings and by providing related news and publications; nevertheless the most was learnt through sharing our experiences. The program was accompanied by a nationwide media-campaign that was aimed at the widest circles of population through related informative articles.
 
Results: More than 2000 instances of personal counseling, 2 technical trainings for advisors, 4 publications: Green electricity labeling (1000 copies), Be smart about energy (6000 copies), Handbook of Complaints (2500 copies), Energy Labeling of Household Appliances (2000 copies), an educational movie on window insulation: Smart Energy Management (Hungarian, 165 Mbyte).
