Sustainable energy & Covenant of Mayors in our cities. Capacity Building Workshop in Budapest

ENERGIAKLUB and Energy Cities organises a full day workshop for municipalities on the Covenant of Mayors (www.eumayors.eu) initiative. The goal of the workshop is to promote the initiative and assist signatories in their efforts to fulfill their sustainable energy goals.

  • Local and regional energy agencies

Learn more on effective local energy management

Allocate and manage sufficient human capacities within your city’s administration (e.g. create a position of local energy manager/energy management unit).

Prepare Baseline Emissions Inventory (BEI) and develop a Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) for your city’s territory.

Involve local stakeholders and citizens in the development, implementation and monitoring of your SEAP – aligning their actions with common local objectives.

Finance the actions featured in your SEAPthrough innovative financing mechanisms

Exchange experiences

…on the implementation of the Covenant of Mayors in Hungary: among Signatories and interested local authorities, energy and regional development agencies, and national institutions in order to bring the case of local sustainable energy management further.
