Lessons learned from developing citizen energy in Central and Eastern Europe

In the ENES-CE project, a publication has been produced to share the conclusions and recommendations of the project, broken down by participating countries and issues related to establishing citizen energy groups and implementing community energy projects.

The lessons learned are divided into five main categories: regulatory barriers, managing and financing green investments and actions, public engagement, technical issues and using ENES-CE participative tools for citizen engagement.

The publication also offers policy recommendations both for the EU level and for countries participating in the projects: Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy Poland and Slovenia.
