Best practices on sustainable mobility trainings - the final report of TRANSPORT LEARNING

"If you plan cities for cars and traffic, you get cars and traffic. If you plan for people and places, you get people and places."- Fred Kent. TRANSPORT LEARNING, an international project on sustainable urban mobility involving 17 partners from 14 different European countries, came to an end. The final brochure provides an overview of the trainings on sustainable urban transport policies and measures, lessons learnt and best practices from all over Europe.

The brochure has two objectives: 1. To provide information for employees of municipalities, energy agencies and all other persons interested in gaining new knowledge in the field of sustainable transport. In this brochure, they can find an overview on each of the eight training modules as well as a description of three exemplary training projects, allowing them to study in depth those topics that are of high interest for them. 2. To present the training methodology to mobility experts and transport professionals interested in replicating the TRANSPORT LEARNING training. Information on existing training materials and lessons learnt should encourage them to integrate the training materials into their seminars and lectures. The project website is available on www.transportlearning.net where you can use the Online Training Resource Center, the E-learning Platform and download the Training Materials.
