Advisory for citizens about energy efficiency? Window insulation for indigent families? Lobby work in decision making on climate issues? All these different activities count a lot in effective climate protection. We have the chance to be successful when we provide specific solutions for specific target groups.

Outcomes of the project

Trainings

Trainings for local NGOs in 2008-2009 in current energy issues: energy certification of buildings, technical solutions for increasing household’s energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, financing investments etc. The aim of the trainings is to coach our partners giving personal advices for citizens in field of energy efficiency in households.

Window insulation

In cooperation with the Hungarian Red Cross in Pest County we provide window insulation service for indigent families. This activity is based on the Hungarian Energy Brigades program successfully running for 10 years in Hungary.

Lobby activity in energy and climate issues

Energiaklub follows and takes part in a proactive way in decision making concerning energy issues: Energy Strategy, Climate Change Strategy,Energy Efficiency Action Plan, EPBD are the hot topics in our lobby work.
