Free trainings on energy saving urban transport

How to make the public transport more popular? How to increase the number of cyclists in the town? How to manage the parking spaces? TRANSPORT LEARNING offers you free training courses, provides you with training materials and presents you an e-Learning platform. Participate in trainings in Europes' convergence regions and improve your skills. Download training materials to provide training courses yourself or pass an online self-study course.

TRANSPORT LEARNING helps you to achieve energy savings and green house gas emission in urban transport.  ENERGIAKLUB is the hosting organistaion of the eigh training moduls carried out in Hungary. The trainings aim to reach municipalities, development agencies, NGOs and experts.

All training will be held by transport and mobility experts from eight European countries. These experts have been working in the field of sustainable mobility for several years, thus having an excellent background and know-how about transportation issues.

After the trainings all training materials will be available on an online e-learing platform.

The following two days trainings hold in Hungary (Budapest), in English with Hungarian translation: 

  • 7-8 May 2012 Public transport models
  • 10-11 May 2012 Land use and housing in mobility management
  • 15-16 October 2012 Parking space management, access restriction and speed control
  • 17-18 October 2012 Street design, streetscape and traffic calming
  • 21-22 January 2013 Mobility management measures for families, kindergartens and schools
  • 24-25 January 2013 Design and implementation of sustainable mobility campaigns
  • 15-16 April 2013 Walking and cycling – counselling municipalities
  • 18-19 April 2013 Communication training
