Today it is no longer a question whether climate change will be one of the most important influences on our society and economy this century. Rather, the most pressing task is to prepare strategies for adapting to the changed climate, and to try to prevent the escalation of more dangerous processes.   ENERGIAKLUB   carries out comprehensive climate protection activities, from participating in international negotiations to keeping a watch on carbon trading and the funds it generates and to preparing local authorities' climate strategies. In the policy related tasks we participate with our own, independent initiatives as well as by taking part in different types of committees, such as the Climate Working Group of the National Council for Sustainable Development, or as a member of the Hungarian delegation travelling to international negotiations. At every level, be that the individual, the local, the national or the international, things can be done to put the brake on climate change: we facilitate this with our studies, our lectures, our methodological publications and our expertise.
